DirectNet Drive
allows to access your remote files stored on FTP/SFTP and WebDAV servers just as if they are located on your local PC. With DirectNet Drive you can use the remote storage as a local drive: drag-n-drop the files in Windows Explorer, watch videos and play music in your favorite media player, edit documents just directly from the FTP site.
What's new in this version: Version 1.2.3 supports connection at Windows startup.

By default passive mode is turned on. You can always change this for the site in the advanced settings window. | |||||||
SSL encryption for data and commands channels | |||||||
You can choose between: a) trying SSL and falling back if failed, b) use SSL only for command channel, c) use SSL for all communication. | |||||||
FTP logs dump option | |||||||
In case of network errors you can always inspect all the FTP communication by viewing log files. | |||||||
Supports non-standart "list -a" command | |||||||
Some FTP servers do not report hidden files to standart "list" command. In order to see the hidden files also "list -a" command should be used. Option to turn on usage of "list -a" command can be found in the advanced settings window. | |||||||
Supports UTF-8 encoding | |||||||
By default DirectNet Drive tries to use UTF-8 encoding. In case of failure it falls back to the specified encoding (or system encoding if none specified). | |||||||
Supports HTTP/SOCKS4/SOCKS5 proxy connection | |||||||
You can specify user/password for proxy server if it requires for authentication. |
