General Modifications :

- PC/OVI Suite will recognise your phone as Nokia C6-00. However every website including OVI Store will recognise your phone as Nokia N97 mini

Instructions :

- Use PNHT's C6 Firmware CORE file with my CFW file and not NAVIFIRM files.
- Make sure you have'nt updated your phone with FOTA.
- No need to hard reset after flashing if you have used my UDA.
- Wait atleast one minute after first boot and after that restart your phone once.

C6 Firmware Fully Working on 5530/5800 Release Files by PNHT [UPDATE]

You have to download firmware files from the below mentioned links and then copy all files to:

What you'll gonna download is the fruit of hard work with countless of hours spent testing, bricking phones, coding tools and heads crashing on the wall!
Therefore, we expect from you to open wide your eyes and read carefully this post.

Before you scroll down to files, here are some rules:
1. Respect the given instructions, otherwise, your phone will be bricked!
2. Read the C6 FAQ/Answer post
3. Do this at your own! Which means, we aren't responsible in any ways if you damage your phone!
4. This release is only for Nokia 5800 RM-356 and Nokia 5530 RM-504
5. Don't Ever use the supplied files with original or previous CFW. This is ONLY compatible with future releases by members/modders that use the same file set
6. If you happen to brick your phone, try to flash using JAF and original Firmware Files which corresponds to the following versions:

For 5800: use V51 files or higher.
For 5530: use V31 files or higher

7. Don't start jumping around asking left and right how to flash it. There are too many posts on the net. I'll be citing one here.
8. Always be calm and double check before you flash that you have setup everything fine
9. Since we've been working like crazy, we will take some time off. Therefore, we won't reply on your questions and please don't try to PM
10. We advise you to flash with the our released version before trying to edit it and add mods or languages
11. To add languages, you will need to use NFE 0.2 STD and follow the instructions that can be found in the tools section
12. Don't EVER USE FOTA to update your phone or it will be bricked! If in any case you want to update, you need to flash with original phone version before using FOTA

 Download JAF.1.98.62 & OGM_JAF_PKEY_Emulator
& launch JAF v1.98.62.exe

Set options like in picture below:

And select your phone:

Select Nokia 5800 XM With RM-356 or Nokia 5530 RM-504

JAF will load files copied to "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Nokia\DataPackage\Products\RM-356\"

(On picture is RM-504 but it have to be as mentioned above) 

Now TURN OFF your phone !! and then click FLASH button after that press power button
(don't hold it) on your phone and JAF will start flashing.

You will get the latest Customer firmware of C6 on your respective phones HACKED.

No need of Rompatcher to hack your firmware, and you will get Homescreen like the Nokia C6/N97. 

How To Hack Nokia S60v3 & S60v5 Firmware With PNHT Method

1. Download Nokia NokiaEditor Beta7 :  HERE
2. then download your firmware by navifirm :   HERE

 3. download this attachment extracted rompatcher 2.03.rar:   HERE

4. open NokiaEditor Beta7 click open select your rofs2 file

5. then click extract go to rofs2 folder

6. {For S60v3 FP2 extract extracted rompatcher 2.03.rar copy three folder return back to rofs2 folder and past it..} {If your phone s60v5 download this cracked installserver from here then past it in \Sys\bin replace}

7. open NokiaEditor Beta7 click repack it will create another rofs2 file name something start with [REB-]

8. copy all your firmware file to C:\Program Files\Nokia\Phoenix\Products\RM-XXX [XXX= your RM version]

9. Replace new created rofs2 file [rename it same as your orginal rofs2 file]

10. flash with jaf

NAVIFIRM downloads all this straight from Nokia's servers so you don't have to wait for people to post data packages and lists of product codes.

NAVIFIRM is useful for just about anyone:

End users: Find product codes to use with NSS/NSU
Journalists: Be the first to know when new firmware hits NSU
Developers: Download ROM images for extracting files
Care Suite/Phoenix/box users: Download ROM images to flash

Additional NSU servers can be added by editing Main.cs in the source code.

To use NAVIFIRM, just start navifirm.exe and drill down from left to right. To download files, check the boxes of the files you want (or click the All button), then click "Download from FiRe". Find a directory to put the files in, then click OK. Care Suite and Phoenix should be able to pick up the firmware files if you put them in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Nokia\DataPackage (if you use Vista w/ UAC, you'll have to right-click navifirm.exe and select Run as Administrator). How To Flash Dead Phones Using JAF Service Suite

USE THIS MOD AT YOUR OWN RISK.

TRY THIS ONLY IF U ARE NOT ABLE TO FLASH WITH PHOENIX

some people having dead phone for using PHOENIX And that happens because the ADL server checks the CRC after the firmware upgrade, which won't match because you cooked your firmware files and will cause the boot-loader not to change back to normal operating mode. So DO NOT USE PHOENIX when upgrading CORE, ROFS2, ROFS3 cooked files, use JAF only...

INSTALLING AND SETTING UP JAF

1. Download this file
    A. JAFSetup_1.98.62.rar
    B. OGM_JAF_PKEY_Emulator_v5.rar

2. UNRAR the bothe file to your desktop
3. open the folder
4. install JAFSetup_1.98.62.exe
5. install JAF to the default location
6. Copy & Paste OGM_JAF_PKEY_Emulator to MYCOMPUTER>LOCAL DISK (C:)>PROGRAM FILE>ODEON>JAF>

Note on you only have to do "this" if you are using Vista, Windows 2003/2008 server. or Windows 7

GETTING YOUR FIRMWARE DOWNLOAD AND READY FOR FLASHING

1. go to "C:\Program Files\Nokia".
2. create a folder called "Phoenix" > C:\Program Files\Nokia\Phoenix
3. open C:\Program Files\Nokia\Phoenix
4. create a folder called "Products" > C:\Program Files\Nokia\Phoenix\Products
5. open C:\Program Files\Nokia\Phoenix\Products
6. create a folder with phones ROM VERSION > RM-xxx, C:\Program Files\Nokia\Phoenix\Products\RM-xxx
7. open C:\Program Files\Nokia\Phoenix\Products\RM-xxx, leave it open. xxx - your Rm version

10 download your firmware using "navifirm.exe"

11. save your firmware to > C:\Program Files\Nokia\Phoenix\Products\RM-xxx

RM-xxx will be different depending on your country or region (IE, RM-505, RM-555, etc...)

USING JAF TO INSTALL COOKED ROMS

12)Install Nokia pc suite if you dont have it installed already (Cable Drivers Are installed with them and needed)

1. from main "jaf" folder.
3.click on "OGM_JAF_PKEY_Emulator_v 5.exe" then Click Go

4. JAF gets loaded
6. in JAF left click the BB5 tab
7. under "Flash Settings"...

A. uncheck "CRT 308"
B. check "Manual Flash" "Dead USB"
C. check "Normal Mode"
D. check "Use INI"

 8. Wait for INI popup window to open.
[Then a list will appear containing all phone models like the picture below]


9. scroll down to your USB FIRMWARE CABLE TYPE
10. Select firmware type (RM-???)

If JAF doesn't find the RM-xxx, just add the following two lines to the end of the file jaf_nok4models.ini (normally found in C:\Program Files\ODEON\JAF\):

 Note RM-??? will be your country or region type

11. left click "OK"
12. your FIRMWARE FILES ARE SETUP AND LOADED READY FOR FLASHING BY JAF
13. Turn Off Your Phone connect it to your pc.
14. in the "Operations Box", left click on "FLASH"
[Then Click YES when a dialog appears like on the picture below]

 15. then Jaf will ask for turn on your phone click turn on [Now Just press the Power Button on your phone a little (just for about 1 second)]
15. Wait for JAF to start flashing
16. after flash complete your phone will auto start

It's that simple, you won't ever brick your phone if you do this way.
